Ultra Hyperlapse
Privacy policy
Effective date: 9 October 2026
Your camera, video, optional audio and motion data are processed locally. Ultra Hyperlapse has no account, advertising, analytics or cloud-processing service and requests no Internet permission.
Who provides the app
Ultra Hyperlapse is provided by Vainakh Studios Ltd. This policy covers Ultra Hyperlapse, the Android hyperlapse video editor, rather than other studio apps.
Camera, audio and motion
Camera permission supports the live viewfinder and in-app recording. Microphone access is optional; recordings can be silent. The app records motion readings and available calibration/timing information to help stabilize in-app footage. Notifications report long-running processing. The app does not request location, contacts or your entire photo library.
Import and local storage
Android's picker gives the app access to videos, images or a folder you select. Android or a cloud-backed picker may independently retrieve the selected media. The app stores local copies, app recordings, optional audio, motion/calibration sidecars, preview/final movies, processing checkpoints, preferences and local diagnostic records. These are not sent to Vainakh Studios servers.
Saving and sharing
Save publishes a completed video to Gallery in Movies/Hyperlapse. Share grants the recipient you choose temporary read access to that exported movie. Your chosen app, Gallery backup service, Android or platform provider may process it under their own policies. The app does not automatically upload recordings or exports.
Retention and deletion
Original app recordings and checkpoints are retained for recovery. Library Delete removes the chosen app-owned completed export; a separately saved Gallery copy may remain. A confirmed recovery Discard action deletes an app-owned source recording and its sidecars; externally selected originals are retained. Android app-storage controls and uninstalling can erase private recordings and unfinished work. Keep copies before clearing storage or uninstalling. There is no server-side recovery or account to delete.
Backups and security
Automatic Android cloud backup and device transfer of app-private data are disabled. Android's normal app isolation protects private files, and only completed movie directories are exposed through the non-exported sharing provider. The app has no separate passcode or custom encryption of recordings. Use your device's security controls. Gallery and other backup services you select are independent.
Third-party components and platform services
The app includes AndroidX, Kotlin, OpenCV and other open-source components; bundled license notices are available offline under About, privacy & licenses. They do not introduce an app account or advertising service. Android, Google Play and device vendors may independently process purchase, security or diagnostic information under their own policies. We do not receive full payment-card information.
This website and support
These Hyperlapse pages have no analytics scripts, advertising cookies or web form. Firebase Hosting and your browser may process ordinary request information needed to deliver the pages, such as an IP address. If you email contact@vainakh.app, we receive the details and attachments you choose to send and use them to answer your request. Do not send private recordings unless you intend to share them.
Changes and contact
We will update this page when the app's practices change. Questions or requests about support correspondence can be sent to contact@vainakh.app.
