1. Who we are and what this policy covers
TimberTilt is developed and published by Vainakh Studios Ltd. (“Vainakh Studios,” “we,” “our,” or “us”). This policy explains how TimberTilt handles information across solo play, live wallpaper mode, and online racing.

2. Solo play and live wallpaper
TimberTilt reads your device’s motion sensors (accelerometer, gyroscope, and gravity sensors) to steer the ball through the 3D labyrinth. All motion-sensor calculations take place locally on your device in real time; raw sensor readings are never transmitted to our servers.
Your preferences and solo game statistics—such as selected board themes, wins and losses, tilt calibration, sound volume, and haptic feedback toggles—are stored locally on your device. Android auto-backup may sync these local app preferences according to your device operating system settings. We do not upload solo game progress to any external server.
3. Online 1-on-1 racing
Online racing is completely optional. When you start an online race:
- Anonymous identity: TimberTilt connects to Google Firebase Authentication to generate or reuse an anonymous player ID. There are no registration forms, usernames, email requirements, or public player profiles.
- Matchmaking & race synchronization: The game sends your anonymous player ID, match readiness, virtual ball coordinates, and finish times to Firebase Realtime Database. Virtual ball coordinates reflect in-game motion within the 3D labyrinth; they are not geographic GPS coordinates.
- Opponent visibility: Your matched opponent sees a translucent ghost ball representing your in-game movement during the race.
- Race departure: Exiting a race or opening the Settings menu closes your active race session and cleans up room state. Leaving does not automatically delete your anonymous Firebase identity, allowing quick rematching.
4. Service providers and technical data
TimberTilt utilizes Google Firebase (Authentication and Realtime Database) to provide online multiplayer functionality. Firebase may process basic technical diagnostic information, such as IP addresses and device SDK identifiers, solely for service operation, security, and abuse prevention. See Firebase Privacy and Security for further details.
TimberTilt contains no advertising SDKs, no payment processing or in-app purchases, and no third-party analytics or crash trackers (such as Google Analytics or Firebase Crashlytics).
5. Data retention and deletion
Local preferences and game records remain in your device’s local storage until cleared in Android Settings or uninstalled.
Online race rooms and active lobby entries are removed when a race finishes or when players disconnect. Anonymous Firebase player identities can be permanently deleted upon request. You can initiate a deletion request directly from the in-app Settings menu (under Privacy & licenses) or by submitting a request online at timbertilt-delete-data.
6. Security
Communication with Firebase uses standard industry-grade encrypted transport (TLS/HTTPS). Database security rules restrict room creation and movement updates to authorized participants in active matches.
7. Children's privacy
TimberTilt is a general-audience game suitable for all ages. It does not solicit personal details, require account creation, or track children.
8. Your choices and controls
- You can play TimberTilt entirely offline without ever accessing online racing.
- You can configure sound, haptics, and tilt calibration at any time in Settings.
- You can clear local game progress and settings via Android Settings > Apps > TimberTilt > Storage > Clear Storage.
- You can request permanent deletion of your anonymous online multiplayer identity at timbertilt-delete-data.
9. Changes to this policy
If our data practices change, updates will be posted directly to this URL with a revised effective date.
