Start with the thing someone came to read

The studio makes interactive worlds, but a person looking for an interval calculation or camera requirement should be able to find the answer directly. The Lab is built as static HTML alongside the existing site. Its headings, article bodies, references and product links arrive with the page.

This lets the artwork and the writing have different rhythms. The tower exhibit invites exploration. A guide can get straight to its explanation. Neither needs to imitate the other.

Keep the enhancement small

The time-lapse planner adds a small JavaScript calculation module to an ordinary form. The formulas and a worked example remain visible when scripting is unavailable. A shared plan contains capture duration, interval, estimated image size and playback frame rate in its URL.

That URL is a convenience for a person sharing an estimate. The page declares the clean planner URL as its canonical address, so individual calculations do not become a sitemap full of repeated pages.

Show the product, and label the artwork

Product galleries use locally stored official Play screenshots. They are present in HTML and load as ordinary images. Existing interactive artwork keeps its explanatory labels: a galaxy study is a browser artwork, not a screenshot of a camera app.

The product registry holds release status and store links together. Upcoming products stay visibly upcoming. Listing details that vary by device or have not been verified are described as checks for the reader, rather than filled with a guessed number.

Publish with an editorial trail

Each Lab entry has a category, author, publication and update dates, a short explanation and a source file. The first technical guides are shared as drafts while their device checks and screenshots are reviewed. Draft pages carry a visible status and are excluded from the sitemap and search indexing.

The Lab begins in English. Existing language navigation remains available, and an English-only entry takes other language choices to the corresponding studio homepage. We will add article translations when they have been reviewed.

This build note describes the implementation in this site. It reports design choices and inspectable behavior, not a measured improvement in search ranking, rendering speed or acquisition.
